BBQ RIBS – Prepared and Tested by Theresa Thompson
1 slab of Highland ribs, cut into serving size portions.
12-16 ounces of beer
18 ounce bottle of bbq sauce
1 orange, sliced thin
1 lemon, sliced thin
1 onion, sliced thin
Set oven at 300 degrees
Line large baking dish with foil. Place ribs in pan. Layer orange, lemon and onion slices over the ribs. Pour beer over all. Cover with foil and put in the oven for one hour.
Remove from oven and take off the foil. Take out orange and lemon slices. Drain liquid. Pour bbq sauce over all and re-cover with foil. Put back in the oven for another hour.
Serve with your favorite side dishes.
